Today, Pantech has announced the WPP-8000, a device presented as its first Wi-Fi enabled phone. Launched via LG Dacom, one of South Korea’s largest high-speed Internet, voice and data services providers, the WPP-8000 is not a regular phone (like the GSM or CDMA ones).

Today AT&T and Pantech announced the C610, a new 3G clamshell. The C610 has dual-band GSM/EDGE radios, with HSDPA, stereo Bluetooth and features a 1.3 megapixel camera and video sharing. It has a-GPS, supports turn-by-turn directions, and has a microSD card slot. The C610 can playback multiple media formats, and it ships with Napster and eMusic software.
