Back in July, when we first saw the Motorola A45 Murano, we didn’t have any official details about it. Well, today Motorola has announced the phone in Brazil, under the name of MOTOCUBO A45. As it turns out, the A45 is an eco-friendly handset (just like the W233 Renew). 25% of the phone is made out of recycled plastic bottles, while 70% of it is recyclable.

If you're feeling the need to text your face off on Boost Mobile but the original i465 Clutch's maroon shade wasn't your cup of tea, fret not -- there's a new shade in town. "Graphite," which is really just a fancy way of saying "black," is going to end up being the second color option for Motorola's first QWERTY iDEN set when it launches next Tuesday for $129.99.

Well, we've already had a pretty good indication that Motorola's Morrison QWERTY slider would be one of the company's planned Android phones, and it looks like most all doubt has now been put to rest courtesy of this shot of what's purported to be a Motorola employee's very own Morrison.

Motorola Aura luxury phone has caused quite a lively discussion on the interwebs when it came out. Not sure how much of that transferred into sales – it is a mighty expensive handset with limited market – but overall reaction was very positive. And Aura wasn’t the only product with interesting design that Motorola was prepping for Luxury/Superluxury market at the time.

What would you get if you took Motorola's QA1 Karma, gutted it of 3G, and dialed up the boxy factor a notch or three? We think you'd end up with something a lot like this, a phone alleged to be the A45 "Murano." The A series is still a rarity in Moto's lineup so we don't have a ton of hardware to compare it with, but one member of the series is Verizon's Rival -- and you can definitely see a little familial resemblance there.

|  | FCC Reveals Entry-Level Motorola Phone

New documents recently made public on the FCC web site show a Motorola-branded phone that the user manual refers to as the W165/W172. It's not clear, however, if the phone is actually manufactured by Motorola, because Cheng Uei Precision Industry of Taiwan is the manufacturer listed in the FCC documents, and Brightstar is the corporation actually applying for FCC approval.
