Back in July, when we first saw the Motorola A45 Murano, we didn’t have any official details about it. Well, today Motorola has announced the phone in Brazil, under the name of MOTOCUBO A45. As it turns out, the A45 is an eco-friendly handset (just like the W233 Renew). 25% of the phone is made out of recycled plastic bottles, while 70% of it is recyclable.

Mobile NewsA3300 proves Motorola wants to keep teasing world with its best WinMo hardware
10:57   06 2009
For some reason that can't fully be explained (much less understood), Motorola's made a bad habit lately of keeping all of its best Windows Mobile hardware more or less confined to Asia. Don't get us wrong, that's great for Asia -- but for the rest of the world, getting a SURF without going through a series of importers...

11:45   21 2009
Motorola Aura luxury phone has caused quite a lively discussion on the interwebs when it came out. Not sure how much of that transferred into sales – it is a mighty expensive handset with limited market – but overall reaction was very positive. And Aura wasn’t the only product with interesting design that Motorola was prepping for Luxury/Superluxury market at the time.

Mobile NewsMotorola A45 Murano: a QA1 minus the 3G?
11:38   21 2009
What would you get if you took Motorola's QA1 Karma, gutted it of 3G, and dialed up the boxy factor a notch or three? We think you'd end up with something a lot like this, a phone alleged to be the A45 "Murano." The A series is still a rarity in Moto's lineup so we don't have a ton of hardware to compare it with, but one member of the series is Verizon's Rival -- and you can definitely see a little familial resemblance there.

11:16   15 2009
New documents recently made public on the FCC web site show a Motorola-branded phone that the user manual refers to as the W165/W172. It's not clear, however, if the phone is actually manufactured by Motorola, because Cheng Uei Precision Industry of Taiwan is the manufacturer listed in the FCC documents, and Brightstar is the corporation actually applying for FCC approval.
